Sorry we do not accept insurance, but we can help by providing you an estimate for your insurance provider. Make sure to ask your insurance provider how much they will reimburse you for your ‘medical hair prosthesis’, and how long it will take to get reimbursed.

Free Wigs for Cancer

There are a few places where you can get a free wig, including The American Cancer Society, CancerCare and FreeWIgsforKids.org. Since 2008, Andrew DiSimone and our staff have been volunteering cutting and styling wigs at ACS’s Look Good Feel Better Program.

About Andrew DiSimone

The Wig Whisperer

Andrew started his career cutting hair at Vidal Sassoon and assisted Louis Licari – the “King of Color” – where he perfected his eye for color. He also styled hair at Manhattan’s Fashion Week and London Academy, and worked extensively with fashion stylist guru Sam McKnight. After leaving the mainstream “salon scene,” Andrew started his own salon in the West Village – which quickly became known for great hair, talented stylists and makeup classes. Today, Andrew – “The Wig Whisperer” – is dedicated to his signature brand of wigs and his award-winning hair salon. He also volunteers cutting and styling wigs for the American Cancer Society and sponsors Free Wigs for Kids.
